Started by a group of Covenant University graduates, it’s a fellowship of College of Science and Technology and College of Engineering students who excel academically, serve their communities, and are dedicated to solving problems in their local communities and globally.

Application process
Who is qualified to apply for the fellowship?
Students currently enrolled in Covenant University’s College of Science and Technology or College of Engineering.
What are the acceptance requirements and application process?
The acceptance requirements are a combination of academic excellence, track record in community service and technical inclination, and a personal mission statement.
The application process involves filling out the application form, reviews by mentors in the fellowship and followup interview(s) to assess the overall suitability of a candidate for the fellowship.
How is the final decision made?
After the final interview round, the mentors and trustees running the fellowship decide together, weighing academic performance, community involvement, and each candidate’s mission statement.
Once a decision is made, every applicant is notified of their status.
Can I reapply if I applied before?
Yes, if you applied last time, but didn’t get admitted, you are welcome to apply again.

What is the scholarship tenure?
The scholarship tenure lasts at least one year and is renewable without a new application. Fellows will maintain their status until graduation, provided they maintain the required CGPA and fulfil other set criteria.
What is the scope of the mentorship?

- Personal: goal setting and general feedback
What is expected from fellows?
Stay in regular contact with your mentor, follow through on what you commit to, and maintain the CGPA required to keep your funding. Beyond that, use the mentorship. It only works if you show up and are honest when something isn’t working.
Who are the trustees of the fellowship?
There’s no separate board. The fellowship and its funds are run directly by the Covenant University Computer Science alumni who mentor fellows day to day.
